Family Camp is half-week church camp event held in the summer. Imagine summer camp, except the whole family attends instead of just the kids. It includes 4 nights lodging & 11 meals prepared for you and served in the camp’s dining room.
It is a Christ-centered event where families can build relationships with another in a safe environment through interactive learning experiences, recreational activities, crafts, and fellowship times. There is a different theme for the camp each year. Some recent examples include: “Family: In God We Still Trust”, “Down on the Family Farm,” and “CHRISTmas in July: It all began with a family.”
Camp starts on a Tuesday evening with a meal, announcements, introductions, and usually ice cream. Then 3 full days of programming and activities Wednesday through Friday. Camp concludes on Sunday with breakfast, followed by closing worship and communion service at at 10:00am.
