• 10-Day Health Assessment – Registrations are to be cut off 12 days before the start of camp so there is time for all participants to complete a 10-Day Health Assessment. The final day to register for Family Camp is June 1st with fees paid.
    • 10-Day Health Assessment forms will be sent to your family with final letter in May, they must be completed daily and turned in upon arrival at camp.
    • For necessary precautions, at this time it is recommended to avoid going out of state or large gathering for 10 days prior to camp.
    • Families will be responsible to do an assessment of members of their family each day and report any illness to Pam Wagner, Family Camp Nurse right away. Appropriate actions will then be taken per the WOC Policies and Procedures Guidelines.
  • Mask Wearing & Color-Coded Bracelets – Participants, including children 6 yrs and over, are to wear a mask when inside the building except when in your own room, showering, or while eating a meal. That rule can be more relaxed outdoors when social distanced, but always have a mask ready to wear if you are interacting with someone and are not social distanced. Any time we are around the WW staff, indoors or outdoors, we are required to wear a mask. Masks are to be worn when singing. Color-coded comfort bracelets will be provided at camp:
    • red = stop! no hugging, distance please;
    • green = go! handshakes/hugs allowed;
    • yellow = proceed with caution/elbow bumps, moderate distancing.
  • Cohort Groups – During Family Camp cohort groups will be our “family groups” which will be the members of your family staying in your room together. There may be times where we will be asked to stay in our family group, for example during mealtime.
  • Bathroom Guidelines – There are to be only 4 people in a bathroom at one time (not counting anyone in a shower stall). The WW staff will be spray sanitizing the bathrooms several times a day.
  • Bedroom Arrangements – Family units are to be housed in the same room.

These COVID-19 policies / procedures may be revaluated if Governor DeWine makes changes to mask wearing requirements and/or the West Ohio Conference changes policies at Camp Widewater. If this is the case, families registered for Family Camp will be notified
